Gary M. Gole is the Managing Partner of Dawson Tilem & Gole. He is a 1972 graduate from California State University at San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, and in 1976 obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of LaVerne. He is married to Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Collette Serio.
Mr. Gole brings to the firm over thirty-four years of experience. He is admitted to practice before all Courts of the State of California, the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the United States Tax Court.
In 1988, Mr. Gole together with his partner Joseph N. Tilem formed the Law Offices of Tilem & Gole. This unique law firm specialized in Land Use and Zoning matters, as well as Landlord Tenant issues, including lease drafting, commercial and residential evictions.
As` a two partner firm, Tilem & Gole was highly successful in obtaining entitlements for a number of projects which included the development of the Barneys New York store on Wilshire Blvd.; MGM office building at the corner of Crescent Drive and Wilshire; Two Rodeo a unique and one of a kind project at the prominent corner of Rodeo and Wilshire; William Morris Agency building; as well as projects for the Beverly Hilton Hotel, 9900 Wilshire Robinsons May, and Louis Vuitton store on Rodeo Drive
Mr. Gole specializes in commercial and residential evictions and other aspects of real property law, land entitlements, probate, contract law, and civil litigation. Over the past thirty-four years he has served as Judge Pro-Tem in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, and Culver City courts. He has served as a Los Angeles Superior Court appointed Arbitrator on numerous cases.
While servicing development clients, Mr. Gole continued specializing in commercial and residential evictions and other aspects of real property law, land entitlements, probate, contract law, and civil litigation.
Mr. Gole is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, and Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee. He is Past President of the Landlord Trial Lawyers Association.
He is a past Board member of the Bel Air/Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council. He is a member of the California Free and Accepted Masons and California Order of Eastern Star, and is a past Board member of Temple Israel of Hollywood. He is also active in a number of charities including participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and raising funds for the UCLA Jonnson Comprehensive Cancer Center.
